Ask. Believe. Receive. This is the philosophy that I am going to live by, starting today, starting RIGHT NOW!!! I will be writing about things and feelings that I want, always as if I already have them. This blog is my personal journey with the LAW OF ATTRACTION and will chronicle how I achieve all of my goals.

Time to get going again...

I have fallen off of the Secret bandwagon lately! But not entirely. I still have the knowledge that I am going to go to school in January.

It's just that I've started to let negative thinking creep back into my life, and it has to stop now!

I will go to school in January.
I will go to The University of Memphis in January.
I will get to go for free.
I will start taking more steps to make sure that this happens, including calling up The U of M and asking what the next step is.

Saturday, September 11

I am so happy with how this week went.

I finished all of my paperwork filing at work.

I called the University of Memphis and got all of my questions answered, as well as scheduled my Compass exam.

I stayed true to the principles of Weight Watchers and am down to 172.0, down 1.8 this week.

Thanks for everything!

It works!

I got my acceptance letter from the University of Memphis last night. Now I just have to sit back and wait for the financial aid that I need (and will get) to pay for it!

I'm going to school in January!!! Yay!!!

Friday, August 20, 2010

Today is another great day. This week has been wonderful!

The biggest thing that I have accomplished is getting all of my high school and college transcripts sent over to the the University of Memphis. I have also scheduled my Compass exam.

Another thing that happened this week is me scheduling my next trip to NYC. It will be in October some time. Stacey will be going with me! :-)

At work, I am 100% caught up on EVERYTHING that I was behind on. I was about halfway there on Monday, but today I am completely done.

I re-watched "The Secret", too, and have made a committment to watch it at least weekly to keep myself inspired.

August 12, 2010

It has been eight days since I watched The Secret and rediscovered the Law of Attraction. Here's what I have accomplished in that time:

1) Getting caught up at work. Yes, I'm still working on this one, but I was VERY VERY behind in all aspects of my job. And now I'm about 50% caught up, and will be much closer by the end of tomorrow. By next Wednesday I should be 100% caught up.

2) Submitted my FAFSA. Instead of just complaining about how I don't like my life, I did something about it. I am officially DOING SOMETHING about wanting to go back to school, which brings me to #3...

3) Applied for admission to the University of Memphis. To be a full-time student for the Spring 2011 (this coming January) semester. I can't wait to get my acceptance letter!!!

4) Was told by my therapist that I am doing GREAT and that I no longer need to see him bi-weekly. We scheduled the next appointment for three weeks out. :-)

This week is just the beginning for me. Things are going to fall into place for me, and I am going to have the future that I want and DESERVE to have.

Friday, August 13th, 2010

Yes, it's Friday the 13th, and it's a great (and lucky) day!

Mostly it's a wonderful day because I am finally caught up on my filing at work. Also, I am on top of everything here, period.

The invoices and purchase orders are all filed. The office supplies have all been ordered. The travel reservations have been completed, and are also filed away neatly.

I spent the majority of the 40 hours that I was paid to WORK actually doing WORK. I feel great about myself and my position here.

I am so grateful to have this job and to do so well at it! :-)

My home life has been great this week, too. I stuck to my Weight Watchers points EVERY DAY this week!! And I ate healthy whole foods 80% of the time, especially on Thursday and Friday in preperation for my Weigh-in tomorrow. I am confident that I am down at LEAST a pound this week, because that is how well I did with my diet and exercise.

I am so grateful to be healthy and happy!

One more thing that I accomplished this week: I filed my FAFSA. I am confident that I filled it out correctly and that I will qualify for federal aid and get plenty of grants and scholarships so that I can start school in January. :-) :-) :-)

I am currently working on my application for the University of Memphis, and it's going very well.

August 6, 2011

I am so happy and grateful now that I have been enrolled at the University of Memphis. I love taking classes and learning things! I am doing very well in all of my classes. I am maintaining a 4.0 seemingly effortlessly. It's hard work, but I love hard work! I love my classes and am making a lot of new friends. I am proud of myself for being back in school.

I am so grateful that I have saved so much money myself! I am more than halfway to my goal of $10,000 saved to move to New York.

I am so happy and grateful now that I am healthy and thin. I have been at my Weight Watchers goal weight of 135 for 5 months now, and am now wearing a size 8 jeans. I feel beautiful all of the time!!! I maintain my new figure effortlessly.

I am so happy now that I love my job. People are nice, I am good at it, and it doesn't really feel like work at all. I enjoy being a part of a company that treats its employees so well and always appreciates my hard work. It's effortless to work hard every day. I come to work and get everything done that is needed, and have been this way for a very long time now. Work is great, but I am excited to move on soon, when I move to NYC.

I am so happy to be in a loving and fullfilling relationship with Stacey. We are so in love, and he treats me with love and respect. I know that he will always be faithful to me, and that we will spend the rest of our lives together. We agree on everything that is important, including (but not limited to) moving to NYC, how to spend and save money, and our future as a couple.

I am so happy and grateful that I have gotten back into my artwork. I have been painting and collaging again, and it feels great! Several completed pieces are hung in my apartment and I feel so accomplished every time that I look at them.

I am so happy and grateful that I get plenty of sleep every night, and that I have been able to keep up my exercise routine, which is usually a long run in the early morning. I am happy that money comes easily and frequently, and that I can afford to buy and enjoy anything that I want. I am so grateful to live in a beautiful apartment with the man that I love. I am so happy and grateful to have pets that live with me, including my two chihuahuas and a hamster.

Life is AMAZING.

The Secret

I am writing this blog for myself, but if you want to follow and comment, I would love it! :-)

The whole point of my secret blog is to help myself practice the law of attraction, as seen in the movie and the book "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne.

I've seen it work for others, and I know that it can work for me.

So most blogs that I write on here will be about gratitude and some will take place in the future. I am trying to attract happiness to my life, and I know that I can do this with a little help from the Universe, but mostly it will depend on me.

I need to learn to love myself if I want to see positive changes in my life!
